Philippa Abbott
Head of Design
While Philippa specialises in design-led transformation for large scale organisations, she’s equally comfortable working out the small stuff and driving positive change for the little guys. She brings vast experience spanning strategy, design research, experience design, social enterprise, design management, and community engagement.
As a Senior Design Lead at Westpac, she built out the design-led transformation within their customer services hub—Westpac’s largest transformation project. Philippa worked in senior consultant roles at Deloitte Digital and The Field Institute, and also was a Senior Project Manager at CoDesign Studio, a social enterprise creating inclusive and empowered communities. She lectured in Design at RMIT University, looking at design, innovation and social impact in Asia, with a particular focus on Asia Australian relationships and future opportunities.
Describing Today as her “spirit company”, her positive can-do attitude and passion enable her to deliver high impact projects and inspire people with design thinking.
