Kate is Today’s Storyteller, ensuring that the stories behind the impactful work we do are shared within the company and beyond. Whether it’s constructing a case study for a pitching document or compiling pieces for our newsletter, Kate is able to build cohesive narratives that shine a light on what we do and why we do it.
Kate first came into contact with Today in her role as a Storyteller for Oxfam, who Today worked with on the Unwrappped gift range. At Oxfam, part of Kate’s role was to travel to remote communities and report on aid programs. She conducted long-form interviews with people living and working in these areas, documenting the impact these programs have on their lives through stories, photography and video.
With a passion for sharing narratives emerging from the not-for-profit space, Kate has an ear for a good story. She is also able to articulate the things that usually go undocumented.
Having trained as a graphic designer, Kate freelances as a designer, photographer and writer, giving her a broad skill set in which to draw upon as a Storyteller.
